It is also advised that you buy thatch that has been fireproofed; you can never predict where a cigarette will land. Clean outdoor tiki furniture regularly with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and try to dry off any excess water on the surface of the furniture. Prevent stains by drying spills as soon as they happen. If you opt for paint as a protection of wood furniture make sure that the furniture has been thoroughly cleaned and primed before applying the paint.
