question do i have to use sustainer for tea light candles? Don’t want to use sustainer bases on the tea light?
candles? Or can I poke a hole in the bottom of them to draw the wicking through, or even hot glue the wicking to the inner base of the aluminum cups?
The base is the easiest and best way to get the wick in place. If you poke a hole in the container, the liquid wax will leak out the hole. If you use hot glue, the glue will melt again when you put in the hot wax. Why don’t you want to use the base?
