Ideas instead of birthday cake?

I’m celebrating my birthday with my family on saturday, and am not a huge cake fan. I like to make whatever we have with my family (i have two younger cousins who have fun with it) and usually just do cake anyways, or we did “monkey bread” last year. any ideas for what to have instead of birthday cake that would be fun for us all? fruit is my favorite food, so maybe any fresh fruit ideas or something? any help would be great

What about a watermelon basket? I do these for baby showers. cut the watermelons rind in the shape of a basket, Take out small pieces at a time is the easiet. Take out all of the watermelon and dry the inside with paper towels. Add chunks of watermelon, grapes, strawberries, cantaloupe, honeydew, kiwi, pineapple. AND kind of fruits that you want.
