Ok, so I know it's bad, you throw your baby shower, but this is a party to welcome home? I just want to do it myself, so I can not do anything …. Do you think it is rude? I have what was called a "Sip & See". And I agree, you do not want a house full of people some days after you've had a baby. Invite people to an "incident" came to see the added bonus of deterring people-to-child if you or the child need rest. You can visit all the way at once.
