What a good / nice hotel stay in Hawaii for the holidays?

My husband and I are going to Hawaii in November, can not decide, however, where they remain. So we thought we were a few suggestions and ideas to find. Of course, it wants to do the Luau and I want to go try diving scubba like surfing.
