is there a retro stock simulator?
I’m looking to gain experience, and I was wondering if there is such thing as a stock simulator that lets you trade in the past and then see what your results would have been in the future.

Sounds like you’re talking about a backtesting program. They do exist. My TD Ameritrade account has one but I haven’t figured it out yet and Zacks has one with their Research Wizard program that you can try for 30 days for free but then it’s something like $2000 a year. (Yes $2000).
