Is this third party power supply compatible with my Lexmark x1170 printer?
I have a lexmark x1170, but i seem to have misplaced the power supply. I do have a power supply (that perfectly fits into the socket), that i bought at some $2 shop that currently powers my stereo.
The printer says: Output 30V — 0.4A
while my power supply says: 2.5A — 250V~
Will I be able to use the two together hassle and damage free?

if your power supply puts out 250volts and printer takes 30 volts you will blow printer circuits to bits
