Family Bridal Shower game ideas?
I was wondering if anyone has ever had or been to a luau bridal shower. It is a family luau bridal shower and I need ideas for games that could involve most people at the shower. There will be adults and kids. Is a pinata for the kids/adults okay to have or pin the monkey on the palm tree? I need ideas for games and what prizes to have…

That will be one colorful shower. The flowers, the muu-muus, coconuts, pineapples! Pin the surfer dude to the water, have a big picture of a beach with water. The monkey climbing a tree is good too, the higher the better. Leis. Your cake can be in the shape of a volcano. (Chocolate frosting!) Have palm trees, maybe rented? Rattan mats on the floor, barefoot, with the flowers on the ankles. Grass skirts. Hawaiian shirts for the guys. Hawaiian music. Hula dancing musical chairs. Sand toys for prises (buckets, sunglasses, shovels, toys.) Can you have a sand box and a sand castle contest? Or like a kitty litter size box for each, and sand in that for the contest. Coconut hunt, (Real or fake, maybe get some tennis balls and turn them brown using shoe polish, you can even slit one and slip in a prize.) Fill a jar with something and secure the lid and have people guess how many is in there, the closest one gets the jar… make it something Hawaiian, like macadamia nuts or goldfish crackers.. (And yes, you have to count them first!) Limbo contest. Your pinata could be a beach ball (made of paper of course.) Guests can make their own leis, with real or silk flowers, people can vote on the best one. Have a couple of surf boards as decorations, real or borrowed or just made from cardboard and painted. Pick up some nice sea shells from somewhere, and they can be prizes. Or use them to hold candles, nuts, and snacks. Luau is also about roasting a pig, so you could make it pin the tail on the pig too. Hula hoop contest, who can make it go the longest. Fill a bowl with small river rocks and tea candles for a center piece. Just start thinking, I’m sure more people will come up with more ideas!
