Mermaid Ariel
Why is Ariel from The Little Mermaid a princess and not one of her sisters?
I love Ariel and she is one of my favorite princesses next to Belle. I just always wondered how come shes a princess and not one of Triton’s other daughters? He has like six other girls so why is she the big cheese?

Ariel has 6 older sisters, all of them are Princesses;
•Aquata – blue tail and seashell bra, brown hair in a ponytail with pearl decoration
•Andrina – lavender tail and seashell bra, blond hair in a bun with pink decorations
•Arista – red tail and seashell bra, blond hair in a ponytail
•Attina – orange tail and seashell bra, brown hair in an up-do with small crown
•Adella – yellow tail, green seashell bra, black hair in ponytail with pearl decorations
•Alana – pink tail, violet seashell bra, short black hair with small crown
And the reason why Ariel is the main character is because she is the youngest princess, constantly defies her father and is (appearantly) the only mermaid princess who wants to be part of another world. (Out of the sea.)
Appearantly Ariel is that one child in the family who just has to be different than all the rest.
