Martial Arts
What class does each martial arts come under?

Which martial arts come under defensive arts, balanced arts and offensive arts?

The reason I’m asking this is that I’d like to train in a martial arts again, and I want to know the different types of each martial art, if that made sense.

Thanks in advance :)

Every art has both offensive and defensive aspects. When evaluating which you want to train in the best option is to try everything available in your area. Find the best instructor in a style that appeals to you who can clearly show you how you can reach your goals with the training; self defense ability, fitness, competition, etc.

No art is inherently better than all others. Every style has both strengths and weaknesses. Find the one most suited to you and train in it as extensively as possible.
