Luau Crab
sandwiches shaped into a crab?
i am giving my daughter a luau 1st birthday party, i want to make sandwiches in shapes of crabs, i have the pampered chef sandwich masher, which will give me a half circle or hole circles sealed edges with no crust.
i was planing on using grapes or olives for the eyes but need an idea for legs/arms pincher’s???
How about cut pieces of baby carrot? I think a whole circle would be best. Grapes or olives would make good eyes, depending on the filling of the sandwich. You can make the legs from a baby carrot slit in half lengthwise, and use two of those for the pincers. If you want more contrast, use celery stalks for the legs and the carrots for the pincers, or vice versa.
