Lights Wedding

Softening of the fluorescent tubes for a wedding? HELP?
I am responsible for decorating the hall for my cousin marriage. The problem is that it's hard tubes. Is there an inexpensive way to mitigate or neutralize the harsh light? Any advice would be very grateful. THANK YOU!
Instead of using the lights in the lobby, you can always bring your own light. Sometimes you just need a few strategically placed great light … then just use a little twinkling lights give it a soft romantic glow.
