Christmas Day is coming. To all the children in my country, it is always attractive. On Christmas Eve the night before Christmas Day children put stockings at the end of their beds before they go to bed. They are always very excited, waiting for Father Christmas to give them Christmas gifts. Besides those, families will give Christmas gifts to each other. In a word, Christmas Day is a nice festival.
However, last year I spent a different Christmas Day. It was because of a light blue box. On the day before Christmas Day, I found that there was a light blue box in the drawer of the desk in the study. I was very curious about what there was in the box. I opened the light blue box carefully. It was a beautiful Tiffany ring. I felt that it seemed to suit me. Maybe My husband bought it for me. Yes, tomorrow was Christmas Day. Maybe he wanted to give me the Tiffany ring as my Christmas gift. In the beginning, I really believed that he wanted to give me a big surprise. At that time, I was really very excited. I hoped that the next morning could come soon.
At last, Christmas Day came. My family all got up early. Before breakfast, we went to the Christmas tree to get our Christmas gifts. When I got my Christmas gift, I was a little disappointed. It was not the Tiffany ring. Why? Then who is the owner of the Tiffany ring?
Suddenly I heard the happy scream of my mother-in-law. The light blue box was in her hand. She opened it. Yes, it was the Tiffany ring that I thought was for me. However, the fact was that the Tiffany ring belonged to my mother-in-law. It was my relief that my husband was very filial. He was Father Christmas of our parents and children. I was proud of him.
I spent a different Christmas Day last year because of the Tiffany ring. I know that I have a good husband. I will remember it for ever.
