Key Chains
how do i organize my key chains?
I have A LOT of key chains (I collect them) I am currently keeping them on a giant key ring (like a janitor would have) but it is getting to difficult to add new ones on. How can i store my key rings?
If you collect them, do you have to carry all of them with you? I suggest making display boards for them. You could use a section of peg board or cork painted in a fresh color or covered with scrap book paper. You can find frames on sale and have the board cut to fit the frames. Just paint or decorate the frames to match. I can just imagine how cute a cluster of several frames would look on a wall together.
Put all of your keys on a plain ring. Then switch out the key chain you carry as often as you want by putting the plain ring on the decorative chain. The chains will stay in good shape longer and you will also put less strain on any locks you are using.
The peg board and the hooks are fairly inexpensive, and for a collection a good investment. Cork boards and push pins are also reasonable. The best part is you will have no problem adding frames as your collection grows. Both have been around forever. With other things, you may not be able to find another later as your collection grows.
