Iron Sew

Can you use iron on interfacing as sew-in interfacing?
If your fabric isn’t fusible interfacing compatible?
It’s really not as good — since that’s not what it’s designed for — but will work in a pinch, if you’re desperate. Iron your fusible interfacing onto a lightweight piece of fabric to make it more durable, and then use that just like sew-in interfacing. The fusible stuff isn’t as sturdy as the sew-in, as it’s made to be fused to fabric when used. Fuse it onto something else, and sew that in. It’ll work best that way.
