Graduation Autograph
Does anyone know any good do-it-yourself illusions? (Preferably relatively simple, easy to learn tricks.)?
My cousin is 15 and has been greatly inspired by Chris Angel and other illusionists. He is getting very good at slight of hand, performing coin and card tricks, and also a minor levitation. He performed for me yesterday and I was very impressed, but he is looking to expand his repitoire. (He says he is interested in performing at birthday parties, graduations, etc. but wants to have at least a 30 minute show consisting of various illusions.
if anyone knows of any interesting magic tricks or illusions, or any websites with suggestions, tips, or instructions, i would love the input. I’ll forward it along to my cousin, and when he gets famous, I’ll send you his autograph!!! 
If you’ve ever seen the penny trick in The Sixth Sense, with Bruce Willis, it’s fairly easy. You take a penny out of your breast pocket, put it in your left hand, do a funny gesture in which it appears the penny goes into your right, say it is in your right, distract the audience with your right as if doing something magical while slipping the penny back into the pocket with your left, then pat your right hand on your breast pocket and say that it is now in that pocket. Pull it out, and watch the amazement.
