Greek orthodox – dressing in black?
One of my teachers at my school Greek Orthodox. He told us he wears a beard because he Religion. It is in her church choir, but wears a black cassock, while everyone is wearing a dress Chorus (I guess he is a player or something). He usually dresses in all black to school everyday. Do you think it is part of the ordained clergy. He must be alone forever? He is a teacher, so it's not like he is among the leading clergy (perhaps a lower part, as a reader). Is that why he wears black all the time?
Well, the Greek priest always dress in black robes and are forbidden to shave. However, they can marry.
