Foil Balloon
Yarn Balloons and Foil or Mylar Balloons?
Yarn balloons are used for Easter decorations and Christmas ornaments. Basically you blow up a regular balloon and cover it with glue and rap twine or yarn around the balloon, let it dry, then pop the balloon and you are left with the shape of the balloon and pretty yarn. Anyway, my question is will this work with Foil or Mylar Balloons? (Number balloons, happy birthday balloons, over the hill balloons) if so what kind of glue can I use? And will it pop like regular balloons? Any other information?
I guess the answer is if you use foil or Mylar balloons they may be a little harder to pop, and the retrieval of the popped balloon, you might even use a spray like Pam or some form of oil which may make it easier for the balloon to release from the yarn. The materials that the foil or Mylar balloons is stiffer and doesn’t shrink like a regular balloon, so the removal of the foil or Mylar balloons might be a little difficult. hope this helps good luck.
