Feet Pacifier
I think I’m having tactile hallucinations?
Sometimes I feel like someone has lightly tapped my shoulder. Or a drop of water has fallen on me. Last night when I was lying in bed It felt like my sons pacifier had been dropped on my foot, from above the blanket. It’s odd because IF something had actually been dropped on me, it could have been anything. Not just a pacifier, but that’s what I imagined. I started noticing these things after my son was born, six months ago. Whats going on?
I remember that. I don’t know the “big word” name for it but it’s just like when you are on a boat so long that you stop feeling the waves under your feet, until you get off the boat and you feel the ground rocking under you and have to get your “land legs” back.
You have a baby. All the time he is in your arms tapping your shouldere (and head and face and hair and so on) and dropping things on your toes. Your head is full of these things, and like the person on a boat, it’s so constant that you stop registering it until it stops.
It’s normal.
