as a favor to my friend i took her cat because she moved overseas. The cat is TERRIBLE it hisses constantly scratches everything up when i try to pet it it hisses and growls and I HATE it. My friend can’t take it back and no one i know wants it. I need to get rid of it it’s driving me crazy. How much does it cost to bring a cat to a shelter?
If she is your friend, do not surrender the cat. I took in a friend’s feral cat who would not even let me touch her at all for the first year of ownership without her trying to bite me. But I was patient and showed her love, something she had never had from a human before. Just give it some more time.
