Daugher’s first birthday party..what do you think?
My daughter 1st birthday is coming up. She is also be baptized. My family lives over an hour away, so putting these together work out perfect! It will consisit of close family and friends. Maybe 15-20 people. I’m doing somewhat of a theme of Abby Cadabby, but only her bday cake, cake plates and napkins will be themed.. maybe a balloon for decor.. Otherwise im buying solid color decor and plates.. I will also have a delish torte cake decorated for her baptism.. both will be smaller cakes. As for lunch.. i think a taco bar will be ideal and simple. My daughter will be the only baby.. if any other kids, they will be 5+.. any other suggestions.. or what do you think?
I am fabulous at throwing parties.
For you, I envision a big ball room, lots of light colors; whites pinks and yellows.
If during the day serve a white wine of course and then a high end brand of Champagne.
I would do finger foods. Taco bars are so white trash dear. Instead god for shrimp cocktail, Liver patee, cucumber and cream cheese sandwich’s, Cheese Aigrettes, Seafood Newbcjrg, and spinach fritters.
Don’t go any less then three tiers on the cake either.
Be sure to tell you friends to bring there nannies along to tend to the children as well. Nothing ruins a first birthday more then a bunch of unruly children.
