Birthday Invitations
How should I address 1st Birthday invitations so that parents know that they should not just drop off?
I am having my sons 1st birthday in a few weeks and about to send out invites. How can I make sure that parents know that they are invited to stay so that I do not end up babysitting a bunch of kids? Also how long should I schedule the party for…2 hours too long?
Mostly the first birthday isn’t really for the baby, it is more for the parents and grandparents, friends and family. You child more then likely doesn’t have friends to much at this age and the party is for you!! You get to feed your baby cake for the first time, you get to watch your toddler eat ice cream the first time, you get to open presents (Your toddler will try lol)
I sent out invitations but it was mainly to friends and family. I addressed the invitation to the adults. I sent an invite to my neighbors too which is my daughters friends (They have 2 little girls) and they came with they’re baby’s. I think that it’s an unwritten rule that the first party is for the parents not the kids…
Now second party (I am planning that now) is ALL about the baby friends!!
