HDPE = High density polyethylene
This is slightly different from the LDPE method as it uses the Ziegler-Natta process.
This process utilizes LOW pressure and a LOW atmosphere in order to work.
2 atmospheres and 60 degrees Celsius.
The catalyst used to make this process economically viable is Titanium(IV) Chloride [TiCl4] and a trialkyl aluminum compound.
trialkyl by the way means 3 organic compounds (tri = 3 alkyl = an organic compound)
Uses of HDPE include
Bins,
Buckets and toys (due to the low amount of branching and the crystalline structure.)
