how do i care for baby sunburst platy fry?
i received the fish pregnant and had no idea that it was. then the next Morning i saw a baby sunburst platy.i put it in a 5 gallon tank. then in a breeding tank that floats in the main tank. the sun burst had 15 fry. 2 were stuck together. them and 2 others died leaving me with 11 fry.i had to remove fry because the mickey mouse platy tried to eat the fry. how do i care for the fry.
Crush any food pellets and sieve it through a Fine fish net.
Or buy some baby brine shrimp, they’re perfect because it’s high-protein.
Make sure you don’t overfeed, feed them enough so they finish the food in 3-5 minutes. Remove excess.
Keep them away from fish that has mouths big enough to fit or else they’ll be a good protein bar for those bigger ones xD
