Pepper Lunch - this could well be my most favorite restaurant in Singapore. They serve half-cooked meat, chicken, fish, and what not in ultra-hot sizzling plates. Your food will be cooked by itself through the plate right in front of you (of course you can do a little stirring to even out cooking among the pieces). Moreover, the food is also marinated in excellent spices and some peanut butter-looking marinade which turns out to be healthy oil when it dissolves in the heat. I ate at this restaurant for five times in my 6-day stay in Singapore. Ü
Sizzling lunch at Pepper Lunch. Pepper Lunch is located at the ground level of Velocity Mall at Novena Square in Singapore.I'm not quite so sure of how many Pepper Lunch branches are there in Singapore. What I know though, is that Pepper Lunch also has operations in other Asian countries. Japan, for instance. My friend Maggie also told me that there is this new restaurant that has opened in Trinoma (the new Ayala mall in Quezon City, PH) which is pretty similar to Pepper Lunch. Let me explore that one out when I get back to Manila. Ü
Sizzling. I always get the meat and chicken steak with extra egg, rice, and drinks for SGD 16.90.
From sizzling to freezing. Pepper Lunch also has tasty ice creams in their menu. I always get the caramel ice cream. The ones above are Maggie's (black) and Ryan's (green).Back to Chasing Daylight home
