On the banks of the Vistula river, in unforgettable surroundings lies one of the most beautifully-located restaurant in Warsaw - Boathouse. Even though it is a 10 minute drive from City Center, sitting in our summer garden, surrounded with greenery, delecting dishes from our Mediterranean menu, you will understand why Boathouse is known as Warsaw's greatest escape.
Award winning. Last 2000, the prestigious American monthly "Conde Nast Traveler" distinguished the Boathouse restaurant as the only Polish restaurant in the ranking of 60 best places in the world.I got a chance to visit Boathouse Restaurant when I was in Warsaw; my colleagues from the United States have been raving that we should go try the place. I thought, why go for a restaurant relatively far from the city center (and our office, of course) when you can settle with a lot of good restaurants in the metro? When we got there, I got the answer to my question.
The Boathouse restaurant is truly a worthwhile place to visit and eat. Situated along the banks of Vistula River, it gives a picturesque view of the river and Warsaw's skyline. It sorts of separates you from the city yet when you look at the view, you realize that it still can't be so far. The restaurant has a superb Mediterranean menu and an excellent wine selection.
Won't be called Boathouse for nothing. This restaurant has actual boats as ornaments. The Boathouse Restaurant is located at Wal Miedzeszynski 389A, Warsaw 03-975 Poland. For reservations, you may call +48 22 616 3223. You could also check out Boathouse's official site.
